About US

HeliX is driven by a multidisciplinary international team of CEPS health policy experts and researchers with the objective of providing the most comprehensive and authoritative overview of the EU’s global health policy. Our multidisciplinary approach combines cutting-edge policy insights, data analysis, and expertise to analyze, track, and forecast the EU’s role within the global health landscape.

About CEPS

Founded in Brussels in 1983, CEPS is one of the leading European think tanks and forum for debate on EU affairs, ranking among the top ten non-US think tanks. Over the years, CEPS has amply demonstrated its ability to anticipate trends and to analyse policy questions well before they become topics of general discussion. The main assets of CEPS can be summarised as follows:

  1. Complete independence to set its own research priorities and freedom from any outside influence.
  2. An eminently qualified research team of more than 60 researchers drawn from more than 23 different countries.
  3. Membership of various research networks, comprising research institutes and non-profit organisations from all over Europe and beyond, to complement and consolidate CEPS’ research expertise and to extend its outreach.
  4. An extensive membership base of some 120 Corporate Members and over 100 Institutional Members, which provide expertise and practical experience and act as a sounding board for CEPS policy proposals.

The CEPS GRID Unit (Global Governance, Regulation, Innovation and the Digital economy) was launched in January 2005 with the aim of exploring policy and regulatory challenges in the areas of better regulation, EU internal market, global governance, health, democracy, innovation policy, digital policy, industrial policy and artificial intelligence.
